In a bid to improve the capacity of smallholder farmers especially women and youths to improve their goat breeds, production and access to viable markets, the organisation courtesy of ActionAid procured 13 Boer crossbreeds and distributed the goats among women and youth groups in wards 16 and 19 of Makoni District. The idea is to rotate the goats amongst the beneficiaries so that in the end everyone will at least have an improved breed at household level. This breed of goats is known for its adaptability to the environment and resilient to diseases below are some the beneficiaries who received the goats.
