FACE Zim has been supporting the PLWDs economically and socially across Manicaland and Mashonaland East Province. The organization supported People Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) at Murewa Mission with poultry projects in 2020. The objective of the project was to elevate PLWDs as well as to empower them economically. Both the Primary and Secondary School beneficiaries received 200-day old chicks each as well as equivalent feeds and chemicals for the project. They sold 2 batches since the project inception and the profits were used to uplift the lives of the pupils at the disability resource units. One of the beneficiaries of the project has been nominated as the school prefect and he is now representing the PLWDs at the school. The project is still running and the schools have a vision of enlarging the projects.
